It’s a heartwarming tale of love, life, and adventure. The epic journey takes flight with a house, suspended by thousands of balloons, making its way to South America for an adventure of a lifetime. Ahhhh!!!! I heart UP, it’s hands-down one of my most favorite films…EVER! 
 
So you can imagine my excitement when I got to capture Miss Kensey in this UP inspired basket-with-balloons. I seriously don’t know who was more excited, me or Kensey?!? The pops of color and whimsical prop were the perfect fit for this happy girl who just celebrated her FIRST birthday!!! It was so fun to see how much she has grown since her newborn pictures AND seeing life and adventure from her perspective…LOVE!

This has to be my favorite stage…when there are a few chicklets on the bottom, and a few up top. Oh my goodness…and that smile?!? Melt my heart!

My mom had me and my sisters matching all the time growing up. I don’t know how much I appreciated it at the time, but I LOVE the idea now! How sweet are these matching Giggle Moon outfits on these sisters?!?

We ended the session with a little cake smash which quickly turned into more of a country-kid-kind-of-cake-smash!!! 
 
Kensey started with her cupcake, but it wasn’t long before someone else wanted a little sweetness too….

Kiko (the family’s dog) sniffed his way over to the scene/frosting. 
 
And had himself a lick or two.

….but then decided she would share a little with Kiko.
