One might say they owe Mark Zuckerberg a big thank you for being their matchmaker, but Facebook was only the beginning of their love story…
They met through friends on social media. Something about Jav caught Alyssa’s attention. The two eventually met, but getting to a first date proved more challenging than not with their opposite work schedules and Jav’s love of cycling. After two failed attempts to meet up, Alyssa agreed to watch The Conjuring with Jav even though she says scary movies are NOT her thing. And as Alyssa walked towards the theatre for their first date, Jav’s first thought was she is so beautiful!
Little did they both realize at the time their first date would be the beginning of their forever together. One year and eight months later, Jav surprised Alyssa with a bouquet of flowers and a proposal to love her all her days.
I’m incredibly excited to be photographing Alyssa and Jav’s wedding this September at the Whitmore Mansion! We met under a canopy of trees for their engagement session and I had the best time with these two AND the red bike they brought along! Here are a few of my favorites…
