I think I officially have a new favorite flower plant in these foxglove beauties! They are gorgeous! I love their vivid colors and bell-shaped flowers. Okay, if I am being honest, I had no idea what type of flower these were when I first saw them. I am by no means a flower aficionado….more of, let’s say, a flower apprecianado! And how could I not be with these lovely blooms?

They were the first thing I noticed as I arrived to meet the Fikse family in Madera to document family portraits with them. And I couldn’t have been more excited! It was a quintessential spring backdrop for this beautiful family of five!
Meet the wonderful Fikse family! I absolutely loved getting to spend the afternoon with this fabulous family in their neck of the woods!
This is Mariana. She will be graduating from eighth grade at Crossroads Christian in just a few short weeks and heading to Fresno Christian HIgh School in the fall! So exciting!!!
I roamed around here and there with Mariana to document a few portraits of her eighth grade year. This is one of my absolute favorites of sweet Mariana!
This is Julia. She is 12, and I don’t know what it is, but reminded me so much of my own sister Gina!!! So fun!!!
Meet Edward. He may be the youngest, but he seems to hold his own pretty good to his two older sisters : )
Sibling love!
Shortly before we met for pictures, Ed and Marie celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary!!! How amazing is that?!?
Thank you for the fun afternoon with your sweet, beautiful family and for the opportunity to document your family portraits!!!
I’ll end with one more of these lovely blooms…hope you all have a beautiful Memorial weekend!
