A few weeks ago, I packed my bags for a three week (+ four days) trip of wedding shoots in California. I’m beyond excited to share the first wedding of that trip with you today! You might remember Case + Kelsey from their Knights Ferry engagement session this past spring. That was the first time I met Kelsey, and I just immediately adored her AND most especially, getting to see Case with her. I have known Case for years, so getting to see him so in love was just THE sweetest thing.

Their wedding day, just like them, was filled with warmth and love. Kelsey planned every detail herself (wait till you see the cake topper!) while friends and family worked tirelessly behind-the-scenes to make it a day to remember – and it absolutely was! Even with the temps tipping over 100 degrees, you’d never know by the smiles on their faces. I think the moment that sticks out to me the most was their first look…there was some tension on the groom before the moment, and then all of it seemed to disappear the minute he saw his bride.

Case + Kelsey, thank you for allowing me to be part of your wedding day. It was a true honor and I am so excited for you both as you begin life as Mr. and Mrs.! A very big thank you also to Diane Angel who helped me capture this day – you are the best!
Loved all the details of the day!
Soft grays and greens made the day feel extra romantic!
The lace and detail of Kelsey’s dress was amazing!
I mean, how gorgeous is her ring?!? You done good Case!
Getting ready her girls!
How beautiful is the lace and details of her dress?!?
Ready to go see her groom!
Across town, Case was getting ready with his guys at his place!
Luckily, we had some former grooms in the house to show him how things are done!
Since the groom is a dairy farmer, he and his guys played up their sock game for the day with holstein print!
Dad giving his pat of approval!
For the first look, tKelsey decided to wear a holstein costume hat since she was becoming a dairy farmer’s wife! The reaction was priceless…
And this? Favorite moment of the day…
Two of my faves!
Sweetest!
Kelsey, you made THE most stunning bride!
After some portraits with the two of them, Kelsey spent a little time with her ladies!
Lovelovelove the mix and match dresses in shades of gray!
So beautiful you are, Kelsey!
Talk about squad goals!
Looking dapper guys!
Case + Kelsey had some EXTRA cute nieces and nephews as part of their day. How adorable are those suspenders and little bow ties?!?
Time to get these two to the church!
You many kiss your bride!
I think those smiles say it all!
After the ceremony, guests drove to the reception where they were greeted with libations and lots of sweet details!
Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs.!!!
The evening continued with dinner and toasts…
…and dancing…
And come extra sweet treats!
The bride surprised the groom by ‘icing’ him while he was getting her garter!
I had to end with this one because THAT is one room filled with all the friends and family who LOVE this couple!!!! Congratulations Case + Kelsey! xx
