It’s Monday and my heart is full from this past weekend! Saturday, we celebrated a wedding for my cousin who married his beautiful bride at the Vizcaya in Sacramento and yesterday, we headed to Visalia for the baptism of my sweet niece, Emma. There was LOTS of miles on the road and little sleep in between, but….this past weekend was such a beautiful reminder of love and promises and I am so thankful to have been a witness of these things!

I don’t know if its just me getting older or what, but being a part of these events has become more and more meaningful to me over the years! So amazing to see two souls commit themselves to each other for a lifetime and then to see my sister and her family stand together and commit to loving and raising Emma s new life in faith – so SO rad. (I am pretty sure ‘rad’ is no longer the thing to say, however, it is the only word to me that embodies such a moment!)

So much love for this little one we celebrated yesterday! Emma was born eight short weeks ago, weighing nine pounds and just one ounce, with the prettiest and poutiest lips I ever did see. Named after her great, great, great Grandmas, this little one is oh-so-loved! Here are a few of my favorites from her newborn session…
I do believe sleepy smiles are just the sweetest thing…
Love her pouty lips!
My absolute favorite of this sweet butter ball!
Happy Monday all!
