When I watch the news these days, I’m disheartened. There is so much negativity and violence, my heart can hardly bear it morning after morning. So I’ve mostly stopped watching the news entirely. Not because I want to live in the dark, but because I want to see the good in this world.

When I met up with Zack for his senior portraits this past August, I felt like I was seeing just that: a bright light for our future. He is kindness and determination. Devoted to his family. And an incredibly honorable individual.

I was so thrilled to be able to document Zack’s senior portraits, especially after having the privilege of capturing his sister’s just a few years back! Even more so, I’m excited to share a few favorites from my session with Zack with you because he is graduating TOMORROW!!! Woo hoo!!!!
Tomorrow, Zack will be walking the field with his fellow classmates at Sunnyside High School to commence their four years of hard work and dedication in high school!!!! Ahhhh, so exciting!!!!
Following graduation, Zack is planning to study Agriculture and Crop Sciences at Columbia Basin College, and hopes to one day own a farm of his own! How amazing is that?!?
One of my favorite parts of this shoot??? Zack’s sister and mama that came along as his wardrobe directors/assistants/coordinators! This guy is definitely loved by his family, and I kind of loved it! A lot!
One of my faves!
Just before sunset, we headed back to town and were able to capture a few with Zack and his beloved black lab, Zoey.
Zack played defensive tackle on the football team, so it was only right we take a few portraits on his home field!!!
Home of the Grizzlies!!!
School pride right here!
I HAVE to end with this one BECAUSE Zack’s mama pulled some strings and had his graduation year put up on the score board for the session!!!! So rad!!!! So excited for you Zack, and pumped to see what the future holds for you as you begin this new chapter in life!!! Cheers to you and the Class of 2017!!!
P.S. Thanks for the DEE-licious tacos after the shoot!!!!
