He saw her before he met her. Marissa’s friend had told Kevin she was starting the PT program where Kevin was already a second year student. So he, being his studious self, looked her up on Facebook to see about this new prospective student coming to the program. She’s cute, he thought.

The day they met, his initial suspicion were affirmed. Weeks later–after getting to know each other through class events, swing dancing on Friday nights and spikeball in the park, Kevin asked Marissa on a date. Little did they realize at the time it’d be the first of their forever together.

Two years later, on the boardwalk where they went on their very first date, Kevin surprised Marissa by getting on one knee and pointed across the water where he had gathered her favorite people to hold signs saying “Will You Marry Me?”
For their engagement session, we returned to the place where they shared their first date and engagement: Coeur d’Alene. They walked hand-in-hand on the shores of the lake where it felt like it was just the two of them…
Kevin and Marissa share the sweetest love. Genuine and joyful. Kind and playful. Attentive and supportive.
One of my faves on the right!
After some time in the sand, we headed towards Tubb’s Hill to catch the sunset…
After a quick outfit change, we spent a few minutes on the boardwalk where Kevin proposed!
I mean…can they get any sweeter?!?
We ended the session on Tubb’s Hill, and it did not disappoint!
Love!
I’ll end with this one of these two sharing a quiet moment on the lake, ready to set sail in life together!
Happy weekend all!
