I found your future husband. That’s what her sister said to her over the phone. On the same night and on a mission to matchmake, her sister also showed Mark a picture of Kaylin and suggested they date.

A month later, it was graduation weekend at Cal Poly, and Kaylin came to celebrate her sister in the pinkiest dress she owned, knowing Mark would be there graduating too. She spotted Mark. He was easy to find at 6’5′, but she did her best to remain composed as she snapped photos for the group of graduates. And if a photo is worth a thousand words, there is no denying Mark only had eyes for Kaylin…and there are pictures to prove it!

Today, they are planning a wedding at The Haven at Tomales in June, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their day and document their amazing love! Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session…
Mark and Kaylin are both from the country so having a rustic setting for their engagement session was PERFECT!
Kaylin, you are gorgeous. And seeing you so in love with Mark just makes your beauty shine all the more!
Early Christmas morning, Mark asked Kaylin to join him for a walk. As they neared an almond orchard, she noticed a glittering in the trees and soon discovered a sign that had been strung from the trees saying “Marry Me”…
My favorite!
I would just like to say for the record, this session was THE windiest one I’ve had to date. But I am quite certain, there is nothing, not even a wind storm, that could stop these two from loving each other!
I adore the way Mark looks at Kaylin. This is the way I imagine them looking at each other the first time the met!
Isn’t her ring gorgeous?!?! Mark you done real good!
Another favorite!
Four years ago, I had the honor of capturing Kaylin’s senior portraits, and now as a bride-to-be!!! How amazing is that?!?
After some pictures at the ranch, we drove to catch the sun setting in the nearby open fields…
Kaylin said she knew Mark was “The One” during a 23-mile hike in Yosemite. They ran short on water and Mark let Kaylin have what was left.
Their love and care and support for each other is incredible. Makes me want to be better just being around them!
Just stop. I can’t. I retiring. The end. You win.
Capturing love in the golden hour will forever be my favorite…
Thank you for letting me capture your amazing love. Already can’t wait for June!
I’ll end with this one because it’s my absolute favorite. It was windy as heck and so chilly, but they were still smiling and game for anything. Together.
