From the minute we arrived, we were treated as family. “There’s no knocking here,” she said, “you just come on in.” In Kansas. Lebanon to be exact, where their clam to fame is being the geographical center of the contiguous 48 states. We stayed, went to Jiffy Burger (and ate the most heavenly cheese balls of my life!), played tourists for a bit, and had the honor of documenting the most beautiful wedding for an even more beautiful couple!

It was blues and copper and crystals hanging from billowing tree branches. It was the prayer shared between the bride and groom before walking down the aisle. It was the sunny skies after the rain. It was the joy that couldn’t be contained in the smiles on their faces.

Danika and Josh, thank you for the amazing weekend spent in your hometown! So excited for you both as you begin this new chapter in life, and we hop to come visit your new home in Michigan one day!!! xx
The bride’s stunning dress! Loved the detailing on the back!
Gorgeous, beautiful Danika!
Even though she is in heaven, Danika’s mom was so part of this special day. As a way to incorporate her mom, she placed a locket with her photo around her bouquet to carry with her all day.
The beautiful bride!
Loving all the man details…especially the groom’s Detroit Tiger Argyle socks from Rally House!
Just across the way, Josh’s groomsmen were helping him with finishing touches!
With time to spare before the ceremony, we headed to take some groomsmen portraits…
Josh was an effortlessly cool and daper groom…
Josh and Danika opted not to see each other before the ceremony, but shared a prayer before the wedding…
As guests began to arrive, the girls headed for some portraits…
Loveloveloved the colors of this wedding!
I would dignify this bunch as professional bridesmaids right here!
Danika, you made the most stunning bride!
The beautiful ceremony entrance…
Its all in the details!
One of my favorite moments of the day…
The parents praying over Josh and Danika…
Just as they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. The smiles say it all!!!
The new Mr. and Mrs. Adams!!!
After the ceremony, we headed just down the road for a few portraits with the bridal party…
One of my favorites!
They literally were just glowing throughout the day!
Another favorite!
After portraits, we headed back to the reception were guests were dining and enjoying a night under a sea of lights…
The night was filled with heartfelt speeches…
…and some sisterly advice for the groom!
But the night was mostly full of friends and family from all over who came to celebrate with the new Mr. and Mrs.!
I’ll end with this sweet exit, of the bride and groom headed out to begin their forever together!!! xx
