Lately, I have caught myself saying the ‘B’ word: Busy. When asked how I have been and what I’m up to, my response lately is “Oh, I’m just busy”. I’m fixated on my to-do list and constantly running through all that needs to be done for the week. And when I’m all about my to-do list, I find I’m not being present. Present in my conversations, present in my relationships, present in the moment. I’m simply missing it. ‘It’ being the journey. 
 
Life is always going to be busy. And while busy can be good and I’m grateful for this season of my life, I don’t want ‘busy’ to be the robber of joy in my life either. Because, I don’t want to miss out on the journey; the beautiful little things of life that make it all worth it.

To help me better organize my journey in life, I rely heavily on my planner. Oh, how I love planners! I had purchased the same, plain black planner for the past three years or so, and a few months ago, I decided I was ready for a change!  
 
But I tell you, finding a planner can be tricky business! It’s a personal purchase and has to fit your needs…and purse! I tried out a few new ones, but nothing seemed to fit the bill until…I stumbled across this Kate Spade Planner. Oh my goodness, I was in love! I loved the design, it had all the goods I needed inside, and it fit in my purse! It was cost a bit more than my previous, but I just love it, and its kind of fun to have a planner fits more of my style too!
