She called me to see when I was free. I think that was my first indicator that Kendra was going to be THE most chill bride! Most inquiries I receive have set dates, so I was taken back by the question! From the moment she began sharing her vision of getting married on their ranch, gathering their closest friends and family at their home, and making sure their girls were part of the whole day, I was hooked! I knew this day was going to be one of those rare, super special days!

And it was just that.

Old western movie and song quotes on handmade wooden signs lined the driveway as guests arrived to their ranch, located just outside Yosemite in the rolling hills of Catheys Valley. A backdrop of roses, cascading in an ombre of pink to red, set the perfect personal backdrop for the ceremony as they said their vows and were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Rose. Their girls, all wearing dresses in an array of pastels, served as bridesmaids, the youngest even doubling as a baker for the day by making & decorating the wedding cake for the reception! And then, to top things off, we took pictures in an open field of golden grass…with their horses…at sunset. What a DREAM!!! The celebration continued into the night as Flying Blind played in front of a sea of cowboy hats.

It was a night I will never forget. And one I’m so incredibly grateful to have been a part of! Sonny + Kendra, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for letting me be part of this day and for inviting me to your home! Here are a few of my favorites from their day!

First look…

…and the BEST reaction to seeing his bride!

After the first look, they rode the horses out for a few portraits…

Just a dream…

I mean…

How gorgeous is Kendra’s Grace Loves Lace dress?!? The sleeves!!!

The most beautiful backdrop made of 1200 roses in an ombre of pink to red created by Natalie Galasso

Love this of the bride’s proud dad watching his daughter…

Kendra walked up the aisle to Garth Brook’s – To Make You Feel My Love – as Sonny waited for his bride….

Officially Mr. and Mrs.!

As guests enjoyed cocktails and mingling, we snuck out to the surrounding fields for a few sunset portraits…

And their girls came too!

One of my favorites!
