This wedding was such a special one, one I have been looking forward to for over a year! Partly because I have known William and his family for years…I took William’s 8th grad graduation pics! And also because, William and Alexa have loved eachother for YEARS! They have known eachother since eighth grade, dated through college, graduate programs, moves, careers, and long distance. Through it all, there love for each other remained tried-and-true.

Oh, how I adore this family! What a sweet treat to capture them together again while I was down in California this past fall. The last time I saw them, their little Eleanor was just one, so it was so fun getting to see them all again!

You might remember Cole & Lizzy from their engagement session, more especially their love story. One that goes back to their high school days, where Cole had a crush on Lizzy, and Lizzy had no idea. That is, until years later, while attending WSU together, and Cole would confess his feelings on their late night walks back to campus. He eventually won her heart, and together, they planned the most amazing wedding day in Sandpoint.

Just when I thought this family couldn’t get any sweeter, they go and get an Aussiedoodle and BAM – super sweet! I adore this family so much, and have loved getting to capture their family portratis over the years.

I had been looking forward to this day since the very first time I met Peter and Kathryn. They are two of the kindest, most genuine souls. Not only that, but when Kathryn mentioned they’d be incorporating some of her Greek family tradition as well as some of Peter’s Jewish family traditions into their wedding day, I was ecstatic!

The Arnold family is growing! I had the honor of capturing Chris and Chelsie’s wedding back in 2016, and they have since welcomed their sweet Own, who just turned one and…is about to be a big brother! Chris and Chelsie are expecting a baby GIRL in August, and I couldn’t be more excited for them!

Meet the newest member of the de Jong family, Summer Jane. Jared and Krista welcomed a GIRL to their crew, and let’s just say, this little girl has three VERY proud big brothers! They all wanted a turn to hold her, and told me all about how she has bows and pink blankets in her room.

Trying to find the words to describe this session with sweet baby Keaton, but I don’t know if there is any. What a sweet reminder this little boy is of the MIRACLE babies are. His little grunts and sleepy smiles and CHIN (!!!) are utter sweetness. And parents, Jake and Kara, couldn’t adore their little man more.

When Yvette first reached out to me, she explained how she was undergoing chemo, but wanted to have family portraits to document this chapter in their lives. I was just in awe of Yvette’s joy and strength, as she battles breast cancer. You can feel the fortide of the whole family, as they rally around her.

Tucked in the blue expanse of Lake Coeur d’Alene, a cabin sits perched on the calm waters of Rockford Bay. It was the perfect location for them to say I Do amongst their closest family members. A long way from their home in Utah, but an idyllic place for a weekend away.
